Our Science Fair!
On Friday 9th of July Kea had a science fair from 2:00 to 3:00. Hoiho and Takahe took turns coming to see our learning. We invited our parents to come and see our learning too. A lot of people came to us because we had a cool experiment about tsunamis. Our question was which bioshield would protect us from a tsunami? We had a grey tray and a house made out of blocks. It was half sand and half water. Students could come and push the cardboard and watch what happens just like a tsunami. I liked that there was lots of people coming to look at our board. The hardest part was making the experiment.
Kia ora Robel. I love the way you explained your experiment so clearly. So what was the best type of protection? This might be really important research, especially as we live on an island and are surrounded by the ocean!
